HSC Results – According to the announcement of the Education Minister, the Inter- Education Board is making final preparation to publish the result of HSC and Equivalent examinations by this December. Professor SM Amirul Islam, Controller of Examinations of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Sub-Committee, told bdnews24 on Sunday, “The results of the HSC will be announced by December. We are continuing our work.”
On 8 October, Education Minister Dipu Moni said that the HSC exam will not be taken this year as PSC and JSC exam because of the coronavirus epidemic.
On the same day, she also said that the result of HSC will be determined by averaging the result of JSC and SSC. The result will be announced in December. Professor Amirul said, “we are hopeful that we will be able to publish results as per the commitment of the Education Minister.”
He also said,” Talks are being held with the ministry, the various proposal is coming and going, we are working. Some days, we must attend two or five meetings. Our preparation is announcing the result by December.” When bdnews24 asked about the exact date of the HSC result of The Secretary of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education- Mahbub Hossain said,’ The date is not fixed yet. You will be notified when the date is fixed.”
The Minister of Education has already told that the result of SSC and Equivalent examinations will be given priority in the evaluation of HSC-Equivalent.
The result of JSC-JDC will be declared as 25% and the result of SSC will be declared as 75% for considering the result of HSC.
The HSC and Equivalent exams were supposed to start on April 1. But the outbreak of coronavirus began to increase so, all the educational institutions in our country closed from March 16. Except for Qawmi Madrasa, all educational intuitions will.
