HSC Result 2020 – Higher Secondary Certificate Exam for the year 2020 was taken by over 1.3 million students of 8,533 educational institutes belonging to eight different boards. Exams for Higher Secondary Certificate and other equivalent examination started in early May, covering nearly 2,452 centers all over Bangladesh.

Higher Secondary Certificate HSC exams and its equivalent examination in Bangladesh started in May 2020, on Sunday. According to the Education Ministry, results of these exams and other equivalent examination will be uploaded on 3rd December 2020 on the Education Board official website educationboardresults.gov.bd, whereas, the HSC exam result of the year 2020 will be live on Thursday, December 24, 2020, on the same website.
Of 1.3 million total students, 654,000 male students, and 565,000 female students appeared in the exam. Outside the country, 7 centers were assembled to accommodate 262 overseas students.
Every exam has two parts, one theoretical and the second practical. Theoretical exams started in May 2020 and ended on the 9th of June. Practical exams were held from the 11th of June to the 20th of June. Students divided into two groups. The first group to appear for the exam in the morning and exam-taking place from 10 am (1000 hours) morning to 1 pm (1300 hours). Similarly, evening exams of the same duration, from 2 pm (1400 hours) afternoon to 5 pm (1700 hours) evening. Special education students were provided with leverage. Students with disabilities were allowed to take 20 extra minutes, while students with special needs like autism, down syndrome, and other disabilities were allowed to have their parent/guardian, teacher, or a helper, and allowed 30 extra minutes to finish their exams.
Total Number of Students appeared in HSC Exam 2020
A total of 1.3 million or 1,311,457 students appear to take the HSC Exam 2020. Out of these 1.3 million, 667,481 were male students while 643,007 were female students. Total centers, including, the ones abroad were 2,541 under 10 education boards countrywide.
