History of Pohela Boishakh:
History of Pohela Boishakh is the primary step for Celebrating Pohela Boishakh. The history started from the Mughal Emperor Akbar. He was the only Emperor who has collected Tax from the people from 1556 to 1609 in the 1st Day of Boishakh. That’s time, Mughal economic fully depends up to Agricultural. But, there was a problem that the Tax collection Session didn’t match to the English Year and Arabic Year.
In those times, they have made a Different Calendar and the First date of their Calendar is known as Pohela Boishakh. Every year they celebrated the Pohela Boishakh with their own Tradition across the Country. Day by Day, The Pohela Boishakh is celebrating all over the world.
Most of the Businessman and Shopkeeper from different Location have Arranged Halkhata to collect Tax from the People in the Pohela Boishakh. But, currently, it is too rare for the people. Bangla Academy made some conditions of Culture for Celebrating the Pohela Boishakh Celebration across the countries.
