SSC Result 2023: The announcement for the 2023 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results in Bangladesh has been made public, with an impressive pass rate of 87.44 percent. The SSC exams and their equivalent were held, and the results were released on the 28th of July, 2023. Along with this, the Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Dinajpur, Jessore, Barisal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, and Mymensingh education boards have issued a press statement regarding the publication of the results.
Simultaneously, the Dakhil results from the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board and the SSC Vocational results from the Bangladesh Technical Education Board were also disclosed. As in previous years, the results were disseminated online and via text messages.
The prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, participated remotely in the results announcement ceremony from Ganabhaban, with the event hosted at Dhaka’s Bangabandhu International Convention Center. The education minister and the chairpersons of all the education boards were also present. During a press conference, the education minister revealed the outcomes, which were available online at midday.
Live updates for the SSC results 2023 were started at 10 am, with Sheikh Hasina inaugurating the event. Post the inauguration, results were accessible online from noon and via SMS. The news was broadcast live across several TV channels.
The SSC 2023 exam, along with its equivalent, commenced on April 30, 2023, and concluded on May 28. This year’s syllabus was shorter due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The total participant count from nine general education boards, the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board, and the Bangladesh Technical Education Board was 20,72,163 for the SSC and equivalent exams.
Earlier, for exam preparation and assessment, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education introduced an assignment system. The results were formulated based on the marks obtained in the SSC and equivalent exams, assignment grades, and the JSC and equivalent exam results.
The 2023 SSC and equivalent results can be checked online, via SMS, and through mobile apps. Also, institution-based results can be downloaded in PDF format from the website. Each education board will display detailed results on their respective websites. The SSC 2023 results with the mark sheet can be found at educationboardresults.gov.bd and eboardresults.com. To check the results, you can also send an SMS from any mobile phone operator.
Individual results and institution-based results are available on the websites of the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board for Dakhil Result 2023 and the Bangladesh Technical Education Board for SSC Vocational Result 2023. Each education board, such as Dhaka, Comilla, Chittagong, Barisal, Dinajpur, Jessore, Sylhet, Rajshahi, and Mymensingh, has also published their results on their respective official websites.
For any objections to the results, students can apply for re-scrutiny. The application process for SSC re-scrutiny will commence a day after the results publication. Dissatisfied students can apply for a review of their scores in one or multiple subjects using Teletalk Mobile. The reviewed results will be declared after the application deadline, and students with revised results will be informed via SMS.
